This page describes the real state of the project, not an ongoing operation. Today there are no active communities, no deployed equipment, no signed agreements and no executed budget. What there is: a validated insight, a methodology under design and a team being built.

D.R. Congo — Ituri and North Kivu
Under study
A context with community warning systems already in place. Desk review and search for counterparts; no operational contact yet.
Burkina Faso and the central Sahel
Monitoring
Tracking access and route safety. Ruled out as a starting region given access conditions for a new organisation.

- Search for a technical co-founder and a humanitarian profile with field experience
- First exploratory conversations with local community and religious leaders
Next
- Confirmation of the pilot region with at least two verified local contacts
- Participatory design of the draft evacuation and warning-verification protocol
- Incorporation of the non-profit legal structure and its governing body
Later
- Testing the protocol with a first community and a real drill
- Final specification of the communication kit and a coverage test
- First quarterly publication of pilot indicators
Planned funding model
There is nothing to audit yet — and we say so plainly
No open fundraising
We do not ask for donations until we have a legal structure, governance and a real capacity to account for funds.
Planned funding
Founding contributions, humanitarian foundation grants and in-kind corporate support (radio, energy, data).
Firm exclusions
We will not accept funds from arms manufacturers, armed security companies or actors involved in the hostilities.
Accountability commitment
Once funds are being spent, we will publish indicators every quarter and submit the accounts to external audit.
